Platform Components

In order to gain the maximum value out of the platform, it's imperative to understand its building blocks and they work together.

There are three main components:

  1. Insights
  2. Integrations
  3. Issues

Insights

In this page, you will get high-level overview information about the state of your integrated applications and most relevant licensing and security issues.

Integrations

Integrations are the core component of the SaaS Management module. They allow us to have a programmatic connectivity with each SaaS application. SaaS integrations

Issues

The Issues page show problems detected within your SaaS integrations.

SaaS Issues

These issues can be classified into 3 types:

1. License Issues

When a user is detected to be inactive for periods of 1,2 or 3 months, an issue will be created for that user here.

We also detect unlinked (orphaned) accounts, where the user exists in app, but doesn't exist in the Primary Directory.

2. Third Party Application Issues

When a user logs into an application using their SSO credentials (Google, Microsoft, Okta, etc..), they share a subset of their SSO provider data with that 3rd party application.

Under this tab, you will see a list of all these applications and what permissions do they applications have.

3. Compliance and Audit Issues

Issues such as users without Two Factor Authentication and Passwords with no proper rotation can be found here.
